Meet Rusty!
Rusty is an affectionate young boy who loves his walks, soft toys, and playtime. He often entertains himself with his toys, so be sure to have a good variety on hand to keep him occupied when alone.
Being a young working breed, Rusty will need daily walks and plenty of mental stimulation. He'll thrive with enrichment activities like puzzle toys or being fed through food-based games to help keep his clever brain engaged.
Rusty can be a little unsure in new situations or when encountering unfamiliar objects. However, with gentle guidance and reassurance from his handler, he quickly gains confidence. Slow, positive introductions are key to helping Rusty continue to grow and enjoy the world around him.
He's best suited to a home where he will be allowed indoors and included as a true member of the family. Rusty would love to explore, go on adventures, and be part of your daily life.
He may be best with older children, as he can be a little cautious at times. Any children in the home will need to meet him and be calm and respectful during interactions.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
